AIVIONT automatically tracks SMS consent for every contact to ensure TCPA compliance.
When a contact books through your booking page or replies to a text, they're marked as having implicit consent.
SMS Consent Types: Explicit (they opted in via form), Implicit (they contacted you first), None (no consent yet).
If you try to send an automation with SMS to contacts without consent, those messages are automatically skipped.
The system also enforces "Do Not Contact" status - contacts marked DNC will never receive automated messages.
SMS Guards: AIVIONT checks consent, do-not-contact status, and phone number validity before every SMS send.
To manually update consent: Open contact profile > SMS Consent field > Update status.
View automation logs to see why SMS messages were skipped: "SMS guard: No consent" or "Contact marked doNotContact."
