Using Merge Tags in Automation Messages
Personalize automation emails and SMS with dynamic contact data and booking links.
Merge tags dynamically insert contact-specific data into your automation messages.
Available merge tags: {{name}} (full name), {{firstName}} (first name only), {{agent_name}} (your name), {{phone}} (contact phone), {{email}} (contact email).
Booking & Meeting tags: {{booking_link}} (your personal booking page URL), {{zoom_link}} (most recent Zoom meeting link for this contact).
How to use: Type the merge tag in your email body or SMS message exactly as shown with double curly braces.
Example email: "Hi {{firstName}}, thanks for your interest! Schedule a call here: {{booking_link}}"
Example SMS: "Hi {{name}}, your meeting is confirmed. Join here: {{zoom_link}}"
Merge tags work in email subject lines, email bodies, and SMS message bodies.
If a merge tag value is empty (e.g., contact has no booking), the tag is replaced with an empty string.
Pro Tip: Always use {{firstName}} instead of {{name}} in casual SMS to keep tone friendly and concise.
